WE BELIEVE IN FOOD JUSTICE
All of Cultivating Community’s programs are rooted in the idea that everyone has the right to good food.
Our community is stronger when everyone has equal access to healthy, local food; nutrition and garden education; growing space, and opportunities to create their own sustainable future.
We know that specific members in our community, especially people of color, have inequitable access to all of the above. We have made it our mission to grow sustainable communities by expanding access to healthy, local food; empowering children, youth, and adults to play diverse roles in restoring the local, sustainable food systems; and modeling, teaching, and advocating for ecological food production.
